I find myself doing the same thing here as I would at home. Sitting. Wasting my life on Seiyo. I'm just 14 times zones away. And it's winter. And supposedly the toilets flush the other direction (though I haven't found a toilet that flushes American style yet, so I haven't seen for myself).

It's weird to think that while I sit here freezing, it is super hot at home. It's rained since we got here. This is the worst I have ever missed everyone. :\ Maybe because things were so super awesome right before I left.

Also. Why is everything closed on Mondays here? It pissed me off.

I think seiyo is slowly eating away at my life. T___T butiloveittheresomuch. Fourth character get. Days move super slowly, though, which is a blessing and a curse. Fail!English is giving me some good amusement. Maybe because I lack a Satoosh.

I love Chunface. So much. 2U pairing is made of win and sexy? Satoshi-mun is awesome. She is just like a 100 miles away too. Why could we not be in the same cittyyyy. D: I am not lucky enough for that.

Mainly his dream about performing with DBSK...in white suits....fighting with Changmin over a microphone...doing the moonwalk with Yunho (more like a moonwalk battle?)...I think I gave him too much DBSK. He needs to stop trying to be in the same timezone as me. XD

Holy shit Tokyoooo Doooomeeee. Youtube is set to Korean on this computer because of Jee, so I keep getting fancams on the main page when I go to Youtube. Yessss. Last few weeks have been busy as all hell.

Had last week of classes, finals for three days...baked with Satoshi for Kana's B-day party...Jessie came over. Jessie and I went to Miki and Zach's with synard for AnimeNEXT. I'm still not totally happy with my Heine cosplay...but I love my new red contacts...perhaps too much. I did perhaps my best Ulquiorra...but I didn't stay in it too long this time around because it started to rain... My mask got all wet and it was icky.

The rave was AWESOME. Mainly because we were TRASHED. They played ON A BOAT...and it was epic.

Then I got home, did some home stuff like actually showing up to Aikido and Taekwondo. I got my ass handed to me in Black belt/Pre-black special class. 4:45-5:45 pm...FML. I have to come back after teaching my class to go to it...arrrgh. But it is the most fun I've had in a long time in TKD. I did really need the muscle therapy on Monday, though...wowwww.

Monday night I went up and spent some time with harmonies...pretty much eating, sleeping, and ranting about Seiyo...and evil plotting. I want to pick up too many people on that game. I might go against the logical part of my brain and pick up a forth. Then...I wanted a fifth. Arghhhhh. Saving up my mental capacity for her new Steampunk game...that I am pretty damn psyched about. ♥

Saw John and Josh since I was in their neck of the woods. Sad that I won't see them for the rest of the summer...or Josh for a really long while, actually. Mmm. Now that school is over, I'm not going go to see a lot of my friends on a regular basis anymore. D; baw. Chuubs go back to Japan while I'm away too...extra baw.

ALSO. Small music rant, but the album/CD version of CHECKMATE finally came out...and...yay. Yunho was a constant source of entertainment mon-thurs with T tour and Vacation and THAT ICON...ffff. He is made of so much fail/win.

So, thankfully Tekkoshocon and Anime Punch are over and nothing terrible happened at either. In fact, I got two awards at Tekko and one at AP for Murciélago. (Yay the second boxset of Gurren Lagann...FUCK YEAH.) Also got a lot of feedback from people at con and on dA.

I also mildly hate all of the pictures taken of maid!Ulquiorra this time around. Argh. I couldn't fix my make up this time, and that might have been part of it.

I mainly spent AP getting schooled in Korean pop music by harmonies...and then since we didn't stay late or go to the rave or anything (this saddened me...), we spent most of Saturday night until like 4 am watching Dong Bang Shin Ki videos. Pimp. Duck Butt. Diva hand. "Microphone". Whale. Too bad that DVD did not burn the videos. But I still have a ton of new music.

But Korean = really intimidating. I love it when it turns out being really close to Japanese, but otherwise I am like "sshiiiii---". I still need to ask about possibly learning it next year.

Mildly sad about not going on the C-bus trip tomorrow with the Chuubs. Also, a good thing. Zach's expression for it: "Yellow fever". I'm imagining Satoshi being "surrounded by flocks of women" (as Nick says) at all times anyway. Lulz.

Nick took my phone and called several people today... >__< The only he actually got was Zach. That was enjoyable. (I forgot his caller ID was a robot.)

So, as badly and disappointing and crushing as the last three weeks have been, the brights spot are rather notable.

As shitty as this week has been (only three days into it, mind you), yesterday I saw David Sedaris reading some of his stories live last night. As amazing and wonderful and funny as he is, more than any punchline he gave, this amused me:

I met this Chuubu kid on Monday in Spoken 338. Over the last two days, I have talked to him/spent more time with him than my conversation partner last year. Well, we were talking in conversation hour about music...and I was trying to explain Tohoshinki/Dong Bang Shin Ki. No matter what we did, it did not bring a bell, which is to be expected, right? The kid likes Fall Out Boy.

But I digress. So, we were going down the escalators on the way to dinner with him, and Rana was messing with her iPhone (which fanscinated him, and here I thought they had better phones in Japan?), and she has a ring tone of Mirotic. Which we played. Suddenly he goes:

"I KNOW THEM. MY MOTHER LOVES THEM."

wtf. So your mother likes half-naked Korean boys, Satoshi? (He went on to explain to me that his mother own one of their live tour videos....)

Taking Spoken JPN 338 next quarter...Deguchi FTW. Too bad I have reg by hand...stupid...stupid college registrar...why do you fail so? Zach suggested this was because it was permission only when he took it? I do not know. Derp derp I wonder if I can leech off of him to some extent Y/N?

Done with high school credits in two weeks. Yay. Now I can take courses towards my major...? Hm.

I really need a new game. But I'm not sure if I want to. LJ scene is just ick ick ick to me now. Too much DORAMA and elitist bullshit. /sigh.

Maybe I should use free time spent not rping doing something. I have a ton of unfinished projects. But lately I can't seem to do anything. Super frustrating.

Motoko for Friday afternoon, Blue Arrancar for Friday night when Meghan FINISHES her part of Red...Allen Saturday until like 2 pm...Ulquiorra for the rest of Saturday...Uhhh, Sunday is always like "LOLWHATEVERR", seeing as I spent last ohayocon Sunday passed out on the lobby floor.

Excited and not excited to see everyone. I think the transition between dread and excitement will carry over tomorrow morning?

maesterlicious not coming = DOOOOOOOOOM D; Stupid snow. Even if you did give me ONE SNOW DAY THIS WEEK. Happy when the snow finally warrants a Level 3 warning and closes OU...yessss.

High school has to go probably an extra week in June. SUCKERS.

Man, I am such a lametard.

I think the holidays have just left me really really burnt out. Oregon was alright until we actually got the Christmas. I'm actually surprised we didn't get into a knock down drag out family fight until then. Made me actually miss the fights my direct family have. But not really.

Not to mention Mom kept calling me. Next time she shouldn't try and get rid of me.

SLC was normal Salt Lake. Alta was fucking cold. Like 7 degrees F. 10,500 ft. Also one of the most beautiful places I frequent. Would have enjoyed it much better if it was not freezing and I didn't feel like crap. Took a lot of pictures...I'll put them up on FB, those who know me there too. Hit all the places we usually do food wise. Didn't kill either member of my family, but this does not mean that homicidal thoughts never crossed my mind.

Saw athena5897 on the 31st when I got back. I didn't think I would be so happy to see Ohio when I landed in Cincinnati... >__>;

I finished all my shirt commissions. All....11 of them. Well. 10.5. One person's is only half done. I even made a Girugamesh shirt. Will probably upload these to dA eventually. Need to finish my two actual costume commissions...one of them for kiyokushitaka. I got the white fabric today. D; Need to finish another cosplay too...and do wig commission for maesterlicious. BAH I STILL HAVE SO MUCH TO DO.

Dropped Clockwork because I fail at life. Makes me feel really, really, really sucky. Need to try and find something better for myself or pick up someone interesting at Onorata...I just don't have the same feeling for rping anymore or writing and my art in general. U__U;

Got accepted to college around Christmas. I wonder if I should be more excited? I won't really get away, get away until I go to Mudai (or chuubudai?) the year after next.

That is really funny seeing how I had a really close shave on Sunday.

My parents pried me from Sean's parent's Christmas party on Saturday night (where I was pretty much just alternately playing Super Smash Bros. Brawl and helping Jetter make Sean really uncomfortable...) to drive up to Columbus. I had to stop by Athena's place to pick up my goddamned phone since I left it in her car on Friday...

Well, bright and early the next morning my parents dump me at the airport alone, to my loud protesting. It turns out I had a bad feeling for a reason, because my flight was late....I barely made it to Cincinnati and on my next flight. That flight proceeded to de-ice for the next 50 minutes. When I got to Salt Lake City, it was right when my plane to Eugene was supposed to take off. Yay.

The flight attendents were like "Oh hey, people need to make tight connections, please let them through?" but of course, since people are dumb and evil and deserve hate, everyone got up. I missed my flight.

Enter being in the SLC airport for the next 11 hours, not sure that I can get anywhere, alone. I tried to get another flight to Eugene, but the earliest they could book me was for wednesday, today. That sucked. I got on all sorts of stand by lists, even tried to get to Portland...but little did I know, the entire city of Portland was under a foot of snow and was crippled by it and an ice storm. Yay again.

Finally got on a flight at 10 pm. Yep. At least I made it. Then I have to go back to SLC on the 26th. Ugh.

Anyway, Merry Christmas to those on my f-list that celebrate. If you don't, happy whatever floats your boat. ♥

New York and seeing Miki-miki was pretty sweet. I got a ton of spoils...but I really can't go to Book Off and Kinokuniya without buying stuff. I also spent about 60 JUST at the Dir en Grey concert (buying stuff)...oh dear. But their new CD is not half bad. New Girugamesh CD is made of epic win as well.

But school officially (mostly) ended for me yesterday. So now I have until the second week of January to get stuff done.

*Get more involved with onorata , bleach_dressing, and HOPEFULLY CLOCKWORK. ksjflafnhsafklas. And Nightmare High...but my hopes are not very high for that one. Maybe I could join as Allen...sigh.
*Visit people. See people I haven't been able to see during school.

*Register for TekkoshoconCOMPLETED and MAYBE Sakuracon. My new goal is to see Girugamesh live there....probably will not happen.

I don't think I have that much to report. Just busting my ass on cosplay for Sugoicon. I had the SMART idea to try to throw together a cosplay of the blue Arrancar chick from the DiamondDust Rebellion. That and the outfit for the red one for my friend who can't sew.

I am looking forward to November...when I will have no school and I will get to finish all of these random projects I've started. Like shirt commissions. And being better at keeping up with comms... and drawing again....and yeah.

Sugoicon is going to be interesting....


I also got my first official weapons training yesterday. Me with a bokken...scary Y/N? I feel bad for Anthony...he was there...and he told me he had to leave because HIS HOUSE WAS ROBBED. First he throws out his back and has to dose on Vicodin (he got injured in Iraq), then he has to go fight with the army about his pension (or lack there of?) and now HIS HOUSE GETS ROBBED. Poor Guy....

Rusty is going to be daddy like...this weekend sometime? Exciting. I can't get out of work for a while, though.

Also, Shanks is here? He told me next week? I'm confused. And kinda in a state of whuuutttt.
